Prerequisites

Environment

Choose restore level as Document 

Specific the URL  

 

You can fill out the following information for granular search: 

  • Document Name 
  • Created Date 
  • Created By 
  • Modified By 
  • Document Size

Select the Backup Time Range and the Document to Restore

Click on Restore for any item you need to recover 

Under description, put the following details: 

  • Ticket number 
  • Requester 
  • Description of the request 

 

Choose restore options: 

  • Restore all content and security -- This restores everything including permissions 
  • Restore security only -- This restores permissions only 
  • Restore content only -- This restores content without the original permissions 

 

Restore Description No more than 255 characters. What would you like to restore? O O Restore all content and security Restore security only Restore content only

 

Choose restore location:

Restore to Original Location 

 

Choose Restore data to its original location 

 

Choose level conflict handling as required

Choose which versions and permissions to restore as required / depending on the need or request 

 

Would you like to restore the version history? O Restore the latest version only Restore the current and previous versions Restore 20 versions Would you like to restore permissions for external users? • No O Yes Would you like to restore the subsites under the site? O No Yes

 

 

Restore to Another Location / Cross Restore 

 

Select Restore the data to another location  

 

Choose User and Language mapping as required 

 

Where would you like to restore the data? O Restore the data to its original location • Restore the data to another location User mapping: None Language mapping: None

 

 

Select the destination.  

 

You can restore a sharepoint site 

 

 

 

Choose which versions and permissions to restore as required / depending on the need or request 

Choose level conflict handling as required 

 

 

 

Review the actions and ensure it meets the requirements/ request 

 

 Click Restore
